Nagi Village Trek 7D
Overview
This recently created "off the beaten track" journey allows close interaction with indigenous tribes, like the Pun-Magar, who have their own language, culture, and rituals. It is rich in nature, culture, and remoteness. A visit to Poonhill is included in the unique opportunity to experience rural life in Nepal's villages, where lodging options range from family stays in the area to eco-lodges maintained by the community.

Tour Plan
Day 01. Drive from Pokhara (822 m) to Nayapul (1070 m) & trek to Purna Gaun (1,500 m): (6-7 Hrs.)
Trek starts after one and half an hour drive to Nayapul. From here we take the West-North path and cross a suspension bridge over the Modi River. We continue walking through Deupur village. The trail is gently uphill until we reach Purna Gaun where we spend our first night.

Day 02. Trek from Purna Gaun to Lespar (2,250 m): (5 Hrs.)
From Purna Gaun, we walk through villages and farm lands for an hour before entering a forest and continue hiking to Lespar. We spend the night in a basic hotel.

Day 03. Trek from Lespar to Nagi Village (2,040 m): (6 Hrs.)
The trail from Lespar climbs steep through hills and forests all the way up to Nagi village. Nangi village is a beautiful and famous village. It is well known for its Wireless Internet Service. Lespar has a Higher Secondary school, telephone facilities and a Nepalese brown paper factory which can be visited on our interest. The Dhaulagiri mountain range is visible from the village.

Day 04. Trek from Nagi Village to Phulbari (2,900 m): (5 Hrs.)
The trail from Nagi ascends gradually to Phulbari, where we will stay this night. It is about 5 hour’s walk through small settlement and forest.

Day 05. Trek from Phulbari to Mohare Camp (3,300 m): (2 Hrs.)
Climb uphill to Mohare Camp (3,300m) through a wild forest where we will see Yak hut. From Mohare Camp, we will enjoy an amazing panoramic view of the mountains as well as the magnificent view of sunrise and sunset.

Day 06. Trek from Mohare Camp to Ghorepani (2,855): (5 Hrs.)
After enjoying the sunrise and magnificent mountain views, we start our journey slowly by walking downhill through a trail surrounded by rhododendron, pine, oak and Juniper trees. We will hear and see various species of birds on our way to the very famous view point of Poonhill. We will then continue down to Ghorepani for about an hour. Overnight in Ghorepani.

Day 07. Trek from Ghorepani to Nayapul (1070m): (7 Hrs.) & Drive to Pokhara (822 m): (7-8 Hr.)
An early climb to the summit of Poon Hill (3,200 m) to watch the sunrise across a magnificent Himalayan panorama. After breakfast walk down through Rhododendron forest and reach Ulleri. From Ulleri, we can drive back to Pokhara by jeep or continue another 3 hours walking to Nayapul and then drive more than an hour to Pokhara.
