Also known as Everest View Trek in Nepal, it is one of the most popular short treks in Khumbu Region. Offering unparalleled vistas of the Everest Region, it presents an opportunity to experience the majesty of the area without undertaking the strenuous ascent to Everest Base Camp. Renowned for its picturesque scenery, this trek is a photographer’s paradise, allowing for the capture of the Everest’s finest views.

Tour Plan
Day 01. Drive from Kathmandu (1,350 m) to Ramechhap. Flight to Lukla (2,800) and Trek to Phakding (2,651 m): (5 Hrs.)
We will take an early morning drive at 2 am to Ramechhap for 4 hours by Tourist Bus or by Jeep then fly to Lukla (20 minutes) from where the Everest Trek begins. In Lukla will meet our porter and start the trek. We gradually descend to Cheplung village from where we get a glimpse of Mt Khumbila, a sacred mountain which has never been. We walk on a trail that gradually descends to Cheplung village from where we get a glimpse of Mt. Khumbila, a sacred mountain which has never been climbed. The trail again gradually descend until Phakding. Overnight in Phakding.

Day 02. Trek from Phakding to Namche (3,438 m): (5-6 Hrs.)
The trail passes through pine forest and continue on the trail that goes north up the Benkar Valley. Then we cross Dudh Koshi River and pass Chumoa and Monjo village before reaching the entrance of Everest National Park. After crossing a suspension bridge, we pass Jorsale village and walk alongside of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. We ascend on a steep trail and reach Namche Bazaar which is probably the biggest town in the Everest region. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 03. Acclimatization Day
Namche Bazaar is the primary town of the Everest or Khumbu region which has government offices, ATMs, internet cafes, shops, restaurants, and a colorful market. We can hike-up to Sagarmatha National Park and enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayas including Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kongde and so on. For today, you can visit the Everest View Hotel for panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. Pass the Syangboche airstrip on your way.

Day 04. Trek from Namche to Khumjung (3,780 m): (3-4 Hrs.)
Today, we will have short hike towards Khumjung, where we can visit the Edmund Hillary School along with one of the popular monasteries of the region, the Khumjung Monastery. This monastery is well known for housing the head of the abominable Yeti.
Khumjung is a spectacular Sherpa village offering rich Sherpa cultural insights with mind blowing views of Khumbila peak and other surrounding snowcapped mountains. It is simply an awesome experience to wake up early high in the mountains and watch those beautiful Himalayan panoramas that takes our breath away.

Day 05. Trek from Khumjung to Tengboche (3,870 m): (4-5 Hrs.)
On this day, we will walk gradual up to Tengboche village. The village is the home of biggest monastery in the Everest region and located within the Sagarmatha National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The monastery is blessed with panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Thamserku. The Tengboche Monastery opens at 3:00pm, so if we reach there by 3 o’clock we can observe a Buddhist religious ceremony. Overnight in Tengboche.

Day 06. Trek from Tengboche to Kyangjuma (3,570 m): (4-5 Hrs.)
In Tengboche, we will have a great opportunity to see the panoramic view of the Himalayas, including Tawache, Nuptse, Lhotse, Amadablam, Thamserku, and also, the Everest. After breakfast, we will walk towards Kyanjuma – a small Sherpa village, the Tashinga Pass and the village of Sansa. Overnight in a tea house in Kyanjuma.

Day 07. Trek from Kyangjuma to Monjo (2,840 m): (4-5 Hrs.)
The trail leads descending all the way to Monjo from Kyangjuma crossing the beautiful Namche village. As the village is used as a trading hub by the Sherpa, you can stroll around the village for some memoirs or gifts to your loved ones. The Namche Bazaar offers you a wide range of wildlife views. We may see some mountain goats, snow leopards, and colorful pheasants too. Fortunately, we will have to cross the Dudh Koshi River and enjoy the magnificent beauty of the glacial river en-route of the trek. . Overnight in a tea house in Monjo.

Day 08. Trek from Monjo to Lukla (2,860 m): (4-5 Hrs.)
Today is the end day of our Everest Panorama Trek. After breakfast in Monjo, descend towards the Lukla village continuously via Phakding crossing several traditional suspension bridges. Celebrate your last night in Lukla as a special one on the laps of the highest mountain in the world. Overnight in a tea house in Lukla.

Day 09. Fly to Kathmandu (1,350 m)
We catch an early morning flight to Ramechhap then drive to Kathmandu after a long mountain journey. In Kathmandu , we can take a rest or do some souvenir shopping. If we want to explore any other areas of Kathmandu, we may do that today. Our guides can help you with both souvenirs shopping or sightseeing. There will be a farewell dinner in the evening to celebrate the successful completion of our journey. Overnight in Kathmandu.
